Official Shutdown

Hello Dark Champions,

I am here to announce the official shutdown of the Dark Champions 3rd generation. As many may already know, there have been a lot of troubles in the community in the last week or so. Many armies have already closed their doors due to recent cyber threats, with CPAH also closing their doors. To keep everybody safe, we have decided to close our doors with immediate effect.

This generation has been an amazing ride with many great events, battles and games. We managed to max an astonishing 20 troops within this generation which is amazing. Many great memories were made including our Spookfest battle, Vampires vs Werewolves. The 3rd generation will go down in history as one of Dark Champions’ best generations, without a doubt.

I would like to thank every single troop in the army for helping to create a fun and safe community for the past 4 months or so, I really do appreciate every one of you. To all of the hardworking recruiters, thank you so much for all of your efforts. Notably my thanks goes to Austin, Overload and Ugly for their hardworking leadership throughout the generation.

The discord will remain and will be converted into a hang out server for the future. Feel free to hang around and chat to all of your friends still.

A last big thank you to every troop, you have been outstanding. Dark Champions forever!

Dark Champions Training Event 4/1/2021

Hey Champs,

Today, we logged on CPC2 for our training event this week, We maxed a total of 17 this event! We hit a crazy max this event, thanks to WV and ACP for helping us out on this event and they were the reason we hit this amazing max this event! We managed to pull fast tactics as always and great bombs with the leading of Ugly and Simmonds for this event as always!

Dark Champions First HTML Event 2/1/2021

Hey Champs,

Today, we logged on CPC2 for the first ever HTML event on our army. Due to flash being discontinued, we decided we will start doing events in CPC2 for the time being. We were able to max a total of 7 Champs for this event, along with fast good tactics great bombs! Thanks to Ugly and Simmonds once again for leading this wonderful event!

The HTML5 Era Begins

Hello Dark Champions,

As you know, today marks the end of flash which we have all grown to love. It is always sad to see something end, especially as it played such a pivotal role in the way in which the community has been shaped for many years. However, as one chapter closes a new one is being written into history. It is with great pleasure to welcome in a new era, HTML!

As many may already know, or possibly not yet, Club Penguin Rewritten (CPR) is converting their flash game into HTML5 coding. This essentially means that the game will remain the same just the coding will be different. Therefore, this takes time to transfer all of your penguin data from the flash version into the new game. Due to this, it may take anywhere from a few days up to a week or so from today for it to launch. As a result of this, we will have to conduct events elsewhere until it’s ready.

I’ve been in constant discussions with leaders regarding how, as an army, we will transition into these new games and which approach we will be choosing. I am here to announce that DC will be using Club Penguin Rewritten and Club Penguin Chapter 2. As stated above, CPR is not ready yet and therefore we will be using CPC2 in the meantime. Once CPR is up and running we will primarily be using this alongside CPC2 which would be used for battles, tournament events, etc. CPC2 has created an army server just for our community where you can use similar commands like CPArmies allowed you to.

Therefore, if you haven’t already make sure to create an account on Club Penguin Chapter 2 prior to events which will be scheduled. The same for CPR, if you haven’t got an account make sure to create one as soon as the game launches. This is going to be an exciting time for armies and will test the community in so many ways. However, we as a community are tough and as an army we are even tougher. I am confident that we will create many more memories to come in this new exciting era.

Our first ever HTML5 event will be scheduled shortly Champs so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for that.

Dark Champions Last Flash Event 30/12/2020

Hey Champs,

Due to flash being discontinued after 31th December, we planned to host our final event on flash. It was a fun event and we were able to pull fast tactics and speedy bombs, our size this event wasn’t the greatest of all time but we managed to pull through it with a max of 7. Thanks to Simmonds and Ugly for leading this wonderful event!

Dark Champions Vs. Clown Rebellion, Color Wars First Round [Results]

Hey Champs,

On the 27th, we logged on Bunny Hill for our First Round of the Color Wars produced by CPAWL.
Our first battle was really interesting yet weird, in the first room there weren’t any army facing us till half way the room ish the Clowns entered the room with a max of 2, we were very confused but continued on our fast tactics.
By the time passing they lost 1 person and we were 8v1’ing the clowns, i must say this was a very funny battle coming from the clowns, half way the battle it basically became a meme then the judges announced our victory and we continued our event.
With a max of 8 we ended on a VICTORY note and we won the first round of the Color Wars with a humiliating defeat for clowns. Huge thanks to Simmonds2000, AustinFraud, Ugly for leading this amazing event, and thanks to all troops who were there.

Dark Champions Pizza Takeover 22/12/2020

Hey Champs,

Today, we logged on alaska for our Pizza Takeover with our cool pizza customes! Sadly the event wasn’t very succesful and we weren’t able to max alot but we still finished the event with good tactics and speed! We were able to able 5 Champs! I know we weren’t been able to max alot recently and i know its sad but we will definatly grow more overtime!

Dark Champions Ausia Training Event 21/12/2020

Hey Champs,

Today, we logged on alaska for our ausia training event, we didn’t have the best start with a max of 4 champs but with time we started to get more troops along the way with Simmonds and Austin being there
We did a variety of fast tactics and good bombs and quick forms while our troops follow the tactics quickly and perfectly as we train them for future battles/tournaments! and we maxed a total of 9 Champs!

Dark Champions Vs. Ice Warriors Ausia Practise Battle [Results]

Hey Champs,

We logged on Alaska for our Practise Battle with Ice Warriors again this friday, we weren’t succesful sadly but we managed to pull a good fight with them even with the huge different size of course, Our fast tactics and good bombs weren’t so good for their huge size. Alas we maxed a total of 11 Champs!

Legend Induction Declaration

Hello Dark Champions,

Now you may be thinking, why is Simmonds writing about a Legend Induction Declaration? I am proud to officially announce that I will be declaring Austin and Overload as Dark Champion legends. The incredible work that both Austin and Overload have put into this army is astonishing and I couldn’t have asked for more. Since the revival of the 3rd generation, both have been putting in consistent work in terms of recruitment, preparing for battles and keeping the server stable. I want to now take the time to write about both Austin and Overload.

Firstly, Austin I knew from the start was already going to get Dark Champions legend. The work rate and charisma that he possesses is outstanding and really inspiring. I had the pleasure to work with Austin at Elites and I got a short glimpse of this in my time there. When the 3rd generation was revived, I had no doubt that it was going to be a success. The recruitment goals and targets have all been produced with help from Austin and Overload. But Austin has a keen eye for recruitment plans which has been so crucial for this armies development. It is with pride I can officially declare Austin as a Dark Champions legend.

Secondly, Overload has impressed thoroughly right from the start. Just as seen with Austin’s potential, I saw the exact same with Overload. The inspiring part about this story is that it illustrates anyone can reach any success with the right attitude and application. Overload had many doubts about how they were leading and if they could reach success. But with hard work, application and belief it is with honour that I declare Overload as a Dark Champions legend. The amazing transformation and development that Overload has displayed is astonishing and I am very proud to have in this army.

Lastly, this is a message to every single troop. You are all important! Just attending events and chatting on our discord server contributes towards our success. You may be thinking; wow I would love to become a legend one day. Why just make that a hope? Turn that into reality. Overload had many doubts at the start of the revival, but look how far they have come. Be confident, kind, honest and ultimately try your hardest. No one can ask more from you than that. Just be your brilliant selves!

Congratulations to Austin and Overload on becoming the newest Dark Champions legends.
